1. Load the free WATERSHOT app from the App Store (there is a tutorial on this App) 2. Before using the App go to settings and put Airplane mode on 3. Go to Settings/General/Autolock tab and click NEVER 4. Close all open background applications (double click home button to view apps, hold until shaking and close all 5. Move the App Icon to bottom left corner (put finger on icon until it starts to shake, then slide it into place) this is so that if you get out of the app you can click to open it again 6. Then tap on Watershot App to open
TOP BUTTON · Tap once to switch between Single Shot and Video · Hold it down to get the Compass · Tap on Compass and it will set a line · Hold Compass down to get back to Single Shot/Video
MIDDLE BUTTON · Tap to take the photo/video (when taking video tap to stop video recording) · Hold it down to go into sleep mode to preserve battery · (Tap Any Button to wake up from sleep mode)
BOTTOM BUTTON 1. Playback (Review) pictures: · Tap once to review photos (can’t review video when App on - as can’t touch screen) · Top Button will scroll forwards in photos/videos; Middle Button will scroll backwards · Tap again to get back to picture taking or · Hold button down when in playback to select to post picture to Facebook or Twitter (if on line) · Tap to send (if on line) · Hold to return to playback then tap again to go back to picture taking 2. Hold button in and get to settings: (top button moves cursor up middle button moves cursor down) · Camera Type – tap and can alternate between back or front camera · Photo Options – Single shot or Burst (takes 3 successive pictures) · Orientation – landscape or portrait Tap to get back to picture taking
If the Watershot App starts to “Runaway” when in video mode and will not save - uninstall and reload app
Remember to back up your iPhone to iCloud when going diving
